beckham is finally showing some character by playing wholeheartedly for LA Galaxy. His courage is admrable for returning to the serie A sde. But this is insufficient for England squad. Any given day Aaron Lennon is better on the wings with his deadly pace and skill. For free kicks Lampard has been superb and Gerrard in mid-filed is difficult to be srpassed by an ageing beckham. As, a reserve its better to have an exta hitman as jermain defoe or even Heskey for that matter. Beckham would not be able to maintain the tempo that is requierd against a young braizilian side. also the weather conditions, the ht and humid climate would be menacing, as he is not used to that.
stll its a decent effort from him and shows that sportsmanship is dependent on age but on spirit and determination.

Becks is an OLD FOX, he will outwit the defoe,lenon and barms kind of plays in a pressure cooker situations. Thats exactly wha t Fabio wants from Beck, Which we all are sure of his survices. May be he is old horse now but what we need to expect from him very critical and i personally feel Fabio has spotted that n This blond will deliver few last punches in South Africa. Guess England will make the quater and we can see off Becks completly. But he did display grt skills n quality football all theses years, I cleanly enjoyed every part of his ManU and not that much of Real Madrid, MLS stuffs..

The Midfeild needs to support more of the guys in front n wings. English clearly lacks a finisher of Linaker,scilachi,van bastan caliber
