No matter how much you spend, most of them will be on infrastructure and that's not a waste of money. On the contrary, the investment can push the economy ahead. The biggest problem is that how many medals India can win in that kind of worldwide games. It would be very embarrassing if India could only win one or 2 golds as a country of 1.1 billion population in home. That would hurt Indian's self-confidence badly.
Mr Gill has said something sensible for first time.He now knows where New Delhi stands in hosting common wealth games. We are lacking in basic infrastructure and Mrs. Jaya Bachan wants Olympics. I wish ABCL donate 50 Billion to Olympics in India. These female actors only know to dance "Dhan Dhana dhan" in hindi films.INDIA needs to compete with CHINA in its economy and emerge stronger if we want to host Olympics soon.
