She always has an excuse for her defeats...injuries...etc...but her commercials do not stop on TV. Even higher ranked players suffer from injuries but i guess they take it positively and come back harder and madam Sania uses them as an excuse....and someone previously rightly said that Saina Nehwal who deserves all the accolades doesn't get much attention. I think the way Sania makes excuses she has compromised with her career coz as it is she is making more money... Even more than Sachin Tendulkar. For those who support this loser i would like to tell them that.. Winners donot make excuses when they lose even when there is a genuine problem. May the almighty help Indian Tennis. Where two best double players of the world have difference and fights and the singles players except Somdev Devverman are not tired giving excuses and getting injured all the time.

The Scientific term for this is the 'Azharuddin Syndrome', wherein :
You can be out of form for 5 years and still lead the national team, you can fix matches and throw games, you can cheat on your wife, you can hobnob with the D-company, and last, but not the least, you can throw down the Minority Card, when your sins are about to be exposed, but yet, : ALL will be forgiven.
Sania was nursing a wrist injury for a year before the Beijing Olympics.
Yet, Sania was chosen to represent the country in the Olympic Tennis, EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS INJURED !!!! Sania went on to make an appearance at the Olympic tennis event, played poorly, and then acted as though she was a martyr, and had done her country a great service by playing through her injury.
The question that Sports Minister Suresh Kalmadi needs to answer to the nation is : If it was known that Sania's nagging wrist injury would hamper her game, why then was the No. 2 women's tennis player of India not allowed to represent India at the Olympics?
If Sania was injured, she should have stepped aside to allow the No. 2 player to represent India. After all, in a country of 1 billion, do we not have any other female tennis players ?

After Sania the next best female Indian tennis player Sunitha Rao is at around rank 291st in WTA ranking. I think an injured 91st rank player has more chances than 291 rank player unless the injury is too serious.
Sania mirza is presumably the most overrated Tennis Player... I dont know why the whole country is going ga-ga over her. this news of Sania losing the first round is worth just a single column news...

After Sania the next best female Indian tennis player Sunitha Rao is at around rank 291st in WTA ranking. I agree that she is no good at international level but still is India's best by miles.

Mr tennis encylopedia, french open is not the only tennis tournatment in the world, federer won monte carlo open this year, he proved that he can come tough on clay, and he did it against Nadal
Whats happen? I think she many times has she crossed the 2nd Round in a Grand Salam Event.. Keep it up. You have been glorified too much all these years. Don't worry Indian Government is there to compensate all your "financial losses"

even player with world 108 ranks qualify and cross 2nd rounds. she got defeated by a player ranked below her i guess thats enough reason to prove.
sania is the good tennis player but those who see matches of sania do not see her performance instead of see her physical activities then how can shee win
