Bollywood and Media - pls back off and let her play! We don't want you to make another Sania Mirza out of Saina Nehwal. I'm glad she has been able to focus and get better at the game without excessive limelight and over the top gestures of heroism.

I fully agree to this...too much media attention too soon and the ramp walks and fashion shows has turned Sania Mirza from an extremely promising talent to an extremely overhyped player...her chances of getting into even tp 50 seems remote now... it would be a great gesture by the Indian media and teh glam world to allow Saina Nehwal realize her full potential and become a champion...

Miss Mirza gets attention because she is most glam Girl in indian sporting world. NO ONE can deny the fact that she is attractive enough to get media attention. Similarly Maria Sharapova too gets similar attention. No body is foolish ( Including Sania Mirza ) to loose out game cheaply simply because of glam and ramp/cat walk.SANIA IS STILL AN EXCELLENT PLAYER (may be not in top 30 today.)

So basically are you trying to credit the media and justify her 'attractiveness' to continued lack of focus and performance drop at tennis. I hope you are not suggesting that she started playing tennis because she is attractive!

She looks like an ugly bald b*tch. She is 1% of Sania who could easily be a Hollywood p*rnstar and rake in millions.
This lady has done wonders for the country in the past one year....unfortunately she's not glamourous like Sania Mirza nor is she part of the Cricketing world hence the media has hardly given her the coverage that she so rightfully deserves....

whatever media coverage given to her is more than enough, you know why because Indian mentality might dominate over her (to do much fanfare but less concentration on badminton)!
