Well done and congrats to each and everysports person inspite of step motherly treatment went allout and won the gold for INDIA.....hope this discussion board floods with congratulatory messages...........great going keep it up guys.
If in cricket, India manages a win in a minor tournament, then all the powers be, from the President down the line, will fall over each other to congratulate the team. But, here we have a team that wins against all odds not just stiff opponents. And, there is no one in the government to say a few good words to them. Media has been hijacked by the IPL and has no time for archery. Corporate houses think that the sport is played after all by tribals. The general public is blissfully unaware of anything except cricket of all varieties. It is indeed a miracle that India continues to produce world champions in "lesser" sports from time to time.

Big congratulations to Indian Archery team on this great achievement.
Cricket is a private game run by a private profit making company BCCI to push products of consumer companies. It is not recognized by Govt sports bodies. Yet the President, PM, UPA Chairperson and other political leader sing gaga on this commercial game meant only to profit the corporates.
But they have no time to appreciate the achievements of their own sport person who excel at world and olympic championship.
This show what kind of people are sitting on top chairs of the country.
