Promise...promise...promise but no performance yet from 'Force India', not even a second round qualification in more than a year. Is this the image of India that is portrayed?

Its all about rear diffuser
by ravi kanchi on May 11, 2009 09:00 AM

Brawn. toyata and williams are doing well because they have bigger and complex rear diffusers. These diffusers were built through cunning interpretations of the current F1 rules. So this goes on to show that poor F1 rules decides who is the winner this time. Its not that Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel have improved this time or Fernanado Alonso/Massa/Hamilton/Raikonnen have gone down...

Button's Magic Wins
by MGR on May 10, 2009 09:04 PM  | Hide replies

When Button was driving Bar Honda, he was not in the habit of winning. How come he started winning so easily? F1 should thoroughly check Brawn's car construction.

Ya Honda had the 2nd worst car last year. But they started to design the 2009 car in 2008 itself. When McLaren, Ferrari and BMW were fighting for the championship, Honda was busy desinging the 2009 car. Actually they took about 1.5yrs to design the 2009 car while Ferrari, McLaren took just a few months.

Its called racing with nothing to loose. All the top teams are trying 2 cut down on their expenses as a result of which u must've observed that all the top teams r jus not able to cope wit d other smaller teams. Wot a silly thing to mention about having his car checked. All cars are checked before and after a race, 4 d information of u newbies out there. F1 is not a sport to jus look at and admire. Get in2 d history of a sport b4 u decide to follow it MGR. Asher u kno ur F1 a bit as well, Honda has put a lot of work into its cars since 1995. What they did not have was the funds that the then team owner Eddie Jordan cudnt put in. He sold out eventually.

John is right. After the end of qualification till a few hours before the race, the cars are parked in parc ferme where they are weighed, checked, etc by FIA. If any car is found to be not with in the rules, they would be penalised. So whatever Brawn GP do, they are checked by the FIA stewards.

Ferrari's miseries..
by Harish Janardhanan on May 10, 2009 08:43 PM

Couldnt actually believe what I am seeing on the Ferrari's pit walls these days...KERS not working, mismanaged pit stops, now we have got Massa's fuel issues.. They are terribly missing the Todt & Brawn on the headphones.
