Rough time for Fed
by m senthilkumar on Mar 26, 2009 07:18 PM

Fed is going through a lean patch. THis can happen to any player in any form of sport. Even sampras went two years with a title before capturing his last US open. He looks like lost consistancy in serving and also his backhand error prone. Hope he gets his form back.

Somewhere along the line, he forgot the word 'Consistency'.

It seems Federer really knows how to beat Nadal!

The way Federer conducts himself in such interviews is really fascinating.
He is somehow sending this message to his fans like Anurag Rathore that the next big win is just round the corner, but alas! When it comes tp oerforming in a Tennis Court (Rehardless of the type of surface), he comes third best. Soon enough, he is going to end up no.4 in the world.

Federer talks better than he plays.
May be he should consider a change of career.

Well Said. I was a Federer fan sometime back. But all the while aware that he disguises his arrogance and people think he is nice. But nowadays, his game is no longer making me ignore his personal character. I have become fan of Rafa :)

it should be the other way round
by souhard kulkarni on Mar 26, 2009 01:24 PM

federer's crossed the age where he could go all aggressive against his opponents...and he definitely is the best tactical tennis player ever...his brains work all the time he plays, unlike aggressive djokovic who only knows to hit hard.
i think fed should instead analyse his losses against nadal and murray, their playing styles and have a solid gameplan, which he can do,coz his similar approach to every match against these two has not bore fruit.
but,its great to know that the man has not lost his belief in his capabilities.all the best, roger!!
