I feel he has achieved everything in life and he has reached a great heights in Chess.Its high timne he should announce his retirement.

Hes playing it smart. As a champion he must get appearnce money in every tounament, so uits okay hes competing. Or problem is we criticise every loss and downplay veery success. As long as hes a World champion theres no reason he should even come remotely close to retiring.

2009 is one of the toughest ones for Anand till now. Hope he comes back strongly taking these into mind..

Dear Mohamed,
These days the margin of performance between champion and other top players is very less.Todays players devise newer strategies to beat top player.But they are not consistent as Anand.Match play is the true class of a strength.FUrther Anand has not been in such top form in these competetions you know.
