Whats your Clarrification Sir.S.Chandra???
by Anerbban Dutta on Mar 18, 2009 10:21 PM  | Hide replies

How do u clarrify our voice Sir.S.Chandra?
Let d ball be put into the court of Football Association n Ministry!
I m afraid, how could u keep so SILENT!I expected a lot from u when u extended hands towards AIFF signing contract for 5Yrs.When all were concentrating on other sports. But,u really dissappointed. So,is your beloved football website "football@zeesports.co.in" who didn't bother to reply my specific mails months ago(i still holds d proof).I landed up calling Bengali Channell-ChabbishGhanta one of ur baby. They said ur crew were busy covering ICL.Fine enough,u have d complete wright to do so,but how do u get to ditch common people like us who loves sports.Atleast we can expect our Team India n Indian club matches to b live telecasted on air out of ur big empire. Its u all towards whom we look forward for positive initiatives and perusal. The initiative exists but results missing and thats intended.Otherwise when ICL is on all I-League matches goes off air(ASTONISHING!).When ICL is off selected I-league match get telecasted but ur OLD ICL matches continue repeat telecast.Till today!
I contcted KolkataJournalist Club,Delhi Journalist Club,Bombay Sports Journalist Club when ur group didn't reply my mails!Unfortunately Honourable Minister P.Dashmunshi is seriously ill so I am on hold after contacting Ministry of Sports.
Remember SILENCE speaks LOUDER than WORDS!Don't test public patience.Pls re-scrutinise ur inner conscience!

It is a long time we are taking it silently. It is high time that we act now. We have to raise our voices, keep addressing emails so that justice is done and we are not deprived our rights. We pay exhorbitant charges to our Cable and service providers to get what we want and they give us what they want. All sport's channels are doing what they please. They adopt a step-motherly treatment to Indian football and many other sports. We have to take up this matter with TRAI, the Government bodies. What is the use of paying such heavy prices when they cannot give us what we want? The Cable Operators are indulged into monopoly and thus we are made to suffer. If they cannot give us the channels what we want, what right they have to be in business. Hathway is lousy. They don't even have the courtesy to respond to emails. They are alleging that ZEE Sports are charging exhorbitant rates. Why is ZEE Sports remaining silent and allowing Hathway to point out accusing fingers that them. We are grateful to ZEE sports for telecasting Indian Football but they have to come affront and let us know what is happening. Let us all unite so that we can get what we want. Let the Cable operators, service providers like Hathway and sport's channel not take us to ride. Even when World Cup Football or Cricket or any other sports are held, we are made to suffer by not getting live telecasts so that they can make a huge and heavy profit. Enough is enough!

WHY NO LIVE TELECAST OF AFC MATCHES INVOLVING INDIAN SOCCER CLUBS
by socorro mascarenhas on Mar 18, 2009 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

We football lovers and fans are very much upset by the apathy shown by the Cable Operators, Service Providers and Sports Channels. Two Indian soccer premier clubs, Mohun Bagan, Kolkatta and Dempo Sports Club (Goa) are involved in their AFC Cup matches and we are deprived to see the live matches. Football matches in India specially in Mumbai, Goa and Kolkatta have a superb fan following and have almost full house spectators. The I- league matches have full house spectators on the stands and it is frustrating when our teams who are doing wonderfully well on the international arena, the fans are deprived to see their performance on TV. The Indian Football Associations should encourage live telecasts of these matches so that our young players, children and every one generate more interest and this will enhance the standard of Indian Football which is on ascelerating note. Sports channels should see that popular games should be given support and encouragement. Zee Sports, our Cable TV - Satelite Cable at Mira Road and Hathway is alleging that you are charging exhorbitant rates and thus are not telecasting ZEE Sports and are depriving us this channel. We would like to know if they are telling the truth or just to save their money, they are not telecasting this channel even though they have forced us to buy the Set Top Box to get Zee Sports.

Hope better sense prevail and we get to see the AFC matches and remaining I League matches.

Be informed, Dempo has won their second consecutive AFC matches this season. Yesterday Dempo beat hot favourites Jordan's Al Faisaly in Jordan by 4-3. Rediffmail, you have not covered the report of this match.

What's IFFA , IFA , AFC, FIFA doing??? Rubbish!!!???
by Anerbban Dutta on Mar 17, 2009 10:37 PM  | Hide replies

Whats the football controlling bodies of all levels doing? If they really wants to spread the football and its value within the Nations where its not higher at international level but have much more intensity than Nations like Brazil,England,France etc...
They should have ensured LIVE TELECAST of playing teams match atleast at their countries at any cost at any channel. There is no scarecity of FUND atleast??? When we die hard fan following of Mohun Bagan cant watch them playing international match that too within our state West Bengal ,it seems painful and sorry for authority of the concerened bodies!!!
Is there any unavailibility of channels to telecast the match???
Even the earlier match played last week was not telecasted!
But,when we open various sports channels we can see the different old matches repeatedly telecasted after every alternate days.
Likewise the fans od Dempo was also denied to watch their team playing abroad and in India.
I also highly accuse so called sports lover the Boss of Zee T.V group. He is nothing but a diplomatic money maker. When ICL is on all Zee channels show the same match live denying I-League matches after contracting exclusive rights of telecast. Can't he manage 2 channels to telecast this matches??? He even doesn't bother to reply to repeated mails put on their site. Its total rubbish.Should be thrown away to DUST BINs.
Pls Re-Think your Conscience-The Channel Owners and Governing Bodies!

I fully agree with Anerbban Dutta. We football fans are made to suffer by the various Sports Channels as well as by our Cable Operators. Our Cable Operator, Satellite Cable, Mira Road and Hathway both are playing games and denying us ZEE Sports coverage saying that ZEE Sports are charging exhoberant rates and we are not able to see the matches that we want to see LIVE. I stay at Mira Road and my complaints to Zee Sports, Satelite Cable and Hathway seems to be falling on deaf ears. If Zee Sports are charging exhorbitant rates then ZEE Sports should not be given the rights to telecast games which they do so as per their whims and fancies. The AFC Cup matches involving Mohun Bagan (Kolkatta) and Dempo S.C (Goa) are deprived for their die hard fans only because the channels are not concerned about football or any sports in particular and they are more interested in making money. Hathway and Satelite Cable at Mira Road informed their subscribers that if they want to view Zee Sports they have to buy a set top box and when the set top box was bought by us they have now discontinued the telecast of Zee Sports saying that they cannot afford to pay the high charges of ZEE Sports but they charge us high rates as Cable fees while the other areas get Zee Sports and other channels at a much lesser price. It is high time the Government and other authorative bodies take these issues seriously and see that the subscribers are not denied what they wish to see.
