Is it sports ?
by Bihari Lalu on Mar 07, 2009 08:32 AM

Looks at the way Commonwealth Games are being treated.

Firstly, participant countries are erstwhile British states. So, the basic premise on which the games are based is wrong.

The games are not played for enjoyment; mostly for the endorsement money the sports persons get once they win.

Media creates a huge hype for their own benefit.

Terrorists could feel it is a great place to satisfy their entire life's fantasy in the stadiums where the games could be held, what ever be the security.

Now tell me, are you and I benefited at all ?

Why is Pakistani incident being taken in Indian context?
by Saibaskar Parthasarathy on Mar 04, 2009 07:33 PM  | Hide replies

If i am not wrong i believe this incident happened in Pakistan then why are ppl talking about India in the same context? If Mexico is lawless does that make US too to be the same? Same logic applies to India too.

Actually I can understand the world opinion.

We have a lot of ISLAMIC Terrorists at home and more are getting trained across the border.

When you see a bearded man wearing a Salwar Kameez with a cap on his head near your house, what is your first impression?

If that is your opinion how can you blame foreigners???

Until the Islamic Terrorists are rooted out in Pakistan, we have to bear this indignity of being their neighbours.

Well the US Govt has a very well planned and professionally managed Govt establishments. Well in India, one need not say anything, because it is very obvious. After the Mumbai attack, there was so much talk of NSG etc., but so far did anything worth talking happen. Why is the backlog of vacancies of security personnel not being filled up. Why is the Govt not investing on these sort of Jobs along with improving security, Infrastructure. We don't even have a proper Judiciary system considering the backlog of cases. SO BETTER DON'T COMPARE US WITH INDIA. First we must make sure people like Mayawati, Laloo, Jayalalitha, Communists(they will sell us to China), Advani dont come to power and make us suffer even worse.
