Bogus rule
by Ajanta Toothpaste on Jun 20, 2009 01:23 PM  | Hide replies

HOw did FIA decide on 60 million limit? There has to be some reason for that..

and why the limit? F1 is the pinnacle of motor sports and the birthplace of many tech revolutions in motor vehicles..

hope max mosley gets some sanity

true, its the pinnacle of motorsport, but at the same time they dont want embarresments like the one honda gave them at the begining of the season, F1 rules are made every season, this is not new that there is something like the budget cap being in place for the next season, it may stay for ever or it may be revoked if the economic situation improved drastically the next year, even formula one administration may think abt reverting back, then coming to the crisis at hand now, its not the budget cap thats creating the trouble, but the technical freedom thats allowed to the teams sticking to the budget cap thats worrying them.

honda came in thinking they could win because they were technologically superior. they gave the excuse of recession and chose the patli gali.

Good chances for Vijay Mallaya to win some races. With all these teams gone, he can now hope to win few points. Seems MR VJ bet on a wrong horse.

Narain was one driver who generated a lot of F1 interest in India. Getting selected to drive in a F1 team is recognition all race drivers want, which is rare.
So Narakasur have some respect for Narain please.

This is not good news for F1, I love the sport and do not want to see it divided over an ego clash and some stupid rules which will take away the charm of racing...

F1 has drawn inspiration from our own IPL and Controversial ICL. Hope the new Champioship in the reckoning doesnt culminate like ICL.

What inspiraation. the moron called lalit modi stole inspiration from american baseball and football games and you have the audacity to say F1 gains its inspiration from IPL. This is what happens when you watch too much Indian TV like NDTV-watching hyped up propoaganda on India this, India that-when actually they are losing ball around them

heee heeee ehh... feel pity for your thot mate. i suppose you are talking abt KERS only,it has nothing to do with budget cap and innovations, many things have been borrowed from F1 in road cars, kindly educate yourself before commenting
