The writer seems to have recently come in Sports from politics. Borg is no politician, and he is free to say what he likes, and he is free to change his mind as many times as he likes. To be able to change one's mind; in fact is one of the fundamental rights guaranteed in any democracy. In fact a person who never changed his mind,never had any mind. Borg predicted last year that Nadal would win the Championship, and he did. That does not mean that he has to predict the same thing every year. If this year, he feels Federer has better chances, there is no reason why he cannot say it. Where is the question of allegiance here? The writer has tried to paint a great sportsman like Borg like our politicians who keep changing parties. Like one need not have been a Borg to predict Nadal was going to win last year, one need not have to be a Borg to predict Federer and Murray are the topmost favorites this year. If Nadal is fully fit, of course he remains one of the top three favorites.
