DUDE 16 th seeded means 16th best player in this tournment not the world. this 16th seed might have a world ranking between 50-70

So....how does all this matter?? She wins something and deserves praise and encouragement, thats all. Appreciate if you can or stop showing off your statistics knowledge. She or anybody who wins anywhere must be appreciated. That is Sport- if you know what I mean....

Sachin....she has made it to the semifinals of an ATP tournament...and can you name one indian women tennis player apart from Sania who has done that..try to encourage those who are putting some effort...atleast by looking at what Sania has achieved now, in the near future we may see many more youngsters coming up
going sania...its a welcome break from the detractors who downplay your talent...otherwise this forum would have been flooded by overimaginative non sense
