I am very very sad to see only 3 comments posted on this news. Leander Paes with no doubt one of the supreme sport person India has produced, though a great deal of people doesnot noticed it. we can call his a great sport person . when he plays of his country i don't think any other sport man in india will be aole to achieve the spirit and strength he can achieive at the time of his game. lot and lot of examples for instance the davis cup and olympics. He was the only medalist in the olympics and on singles by defeating more talented players than his and also in davis cup also. I am Very sad to say that india does not recognize him. We all are hailing and praising all the cricketers on most case for small tournament wins and series win. even on a series draw at zimbabwe but pull back on respecting true heroes. I felt ashamed of all the sport authorities and ministries in india and also to a far extent to all the people who is giving more and more importance to cricket but very soon forgetting the great achievement made by great heros. for example we can hear on a daily basis about the world cup victory of kapil dev's team on 1983 and T 20 world championship etc but can's hear about the achievement made by real heros like leander paes, karnam malleswari, jitender sing etc. this scenario has to be changed and only a change can help the raise of Indian sports
Paes is only tennis player who is keeping the indian falg flying.But indians cant give him due they are after now love things foreign they only write about fedex greatest or other n fight out only 3 messages out....in case of edex there you can see 112 msges and one upmanship.So sorry paes indians will not give you value what you like to give us.Win lot more
