Federer is one of the greatest player and can become the greatest player of All Times when he beats Nadal at two or three Grand slams.

Nadal is not better in any stretch of imagination as yet, but in the current era he is the only one consistently giving trouble to Federer and in last cpl of yrs even beyond the limit of french open. Another thing is Federer is late 20s, Nadal is early 20s. However my personal fav is Federer only.

Nadal depends on his strength and stamina. As soon as time will progress Nadal will find difficult himself to win any Grandslam. You can see he has exhausted just after 1 year of his peak.

Funny to see that you are not exhausted of repeating the same crap ad nauseum.Get a life you moron, dont belittle the great achievements of Rafa.At least remember that if you belittle Rafa, you are belittling Federer-cos Rafa leads Federer head to head, has taken his No 1 ranking, and has beaten him on all surfaces including Wimbledon.Seek help my friend, you are more of a Fedex groupie than a fan.Respect both these great champions who have enriched tennis.

its simple...
by Prasad Duddu on Jun 08, 2009 02:52 PM  | Hide replies

ppl r debating on the age factor ....to whom he has to prove continous 20 SF ...winning 14 slams in 7 yrs ...he lost 6 finals...jst think if he was a gud power player ...most of the french open will be in his kitty long back

in the age of 27 still he is winning grand slams...but for sure this will nt happen to nadal...as he depends on power another 1 or max 2 yrs he willbe out ...........nadal has screwed the tennis game...now a days more arm power is used in tennis then the skill...the only players who used skill in last 25 yrs is sampras and roger....both r ever greeen players.......sampras or roger just they r the kings of the tennis kingdom...

Another Federer-idiotic fan..Can't you just appreciate a Man's achievement..U ppl are unfit to be federer fan..Fedex himself, considers Rafa a great player..
Let us think, Rafa is going to fade away in 2 yrs, but by that time, he will definitely be the owner of close to 10 slams, including a Grand Slam (after achieving US Open)..I m not saying Rafa is gr8 than Roger, but they are class in their own way..Robin had his day..And he will never going to make this kind in his life again..Players are considered gr8 only when they prove themselves over a period of time of which Fedx (Undoubtedly!) and Rafa(More Deservingly!!) have proved..And one more thing, Rafa has beaten Roger on all kind of GS courts..FO,WIM and AO..Soon he will (I say this yr) win US Open..
PPl like you are fitted to be in rehabilitaion centre than on a discussion board..get life dude..Get well soon..
Hail King Roger and Prince Rafa!!

Sampras vs Edberg:
by bango tango on Jun 08, 2009 02:52 PM

Although Sampras leads 8-6, Edberg got the better of the meetings that really counted between them. They only met twice in grand slams and Stefan won them both:

1995 Indian Wells, Hard, S
CA, U.S.A. Hard S Sampras 4 6 6 3 6 4

Federer is better than Nadal.....
by Anurag Rathore on Jun 08, 2009 02:52 PM  | Hide replies

Head to head(Nadal VS Federer)

Nadal leads 13:7

Hard: Tied 3:3
Clay: Nadal leads 9:2
Grass: Federer leads 2:1
Indoor: Federer leads 2:0

It has proved Federer is better player than Nadal because he is leading on Grass and Indoor while only trailing on Clay.

Career Singles Titles:
Federer - 58
Nadal - 36

Career Slam Singles Titles:
Nadal - 6
Federer - 13

Career Singles Record:
Nadal : 375 - 81
Federer : 628 - 149

Current Year Singles Record:
Nadal : 44 - 5
Federer : 31 - 6

Nadal already lost 5 matches this year while he in on top of his game. I don't think Nadal can ever overtake Federer.

Thanks for providing the stats, moron. Now lets dissect them.I will make it simple so that retards like you can understand clearly. So Fedex leads on grass and indoor, so that makes him a better player? What kind of stupid logic is this?Is clay not an integral part of tennis?Federer doesnt even have a clear lead anywhere except indoor. Please think before you try to prove your intelligence here.Next..Rafa already has 36 titles to 58,being much junior to Fedex. You conveniently omitted this.Same for Grand Slams...already half of Fedex with an Olympic Gold to boot!Career singles..again flawed.Current year record...Rafa is ahead. It just proves that you can provide the data even to a retard, but he wont be able to analyse it!.Thanks for making my job simple. Now sit home and do your homework.Good night.

Dear Mr. Anurag sorry to intrude betwixt your angry outburst agaist the stats provided by the earlier mail. Siphoning stats is a singular somotological disorder of this era. They don't prove who is a better tennis player. Yes. Stats can never prove that Roger is a better tennis player than Rafa. Rafa, the tennis machine, would beed more frquent overhauls before it sputters off. Who looke more tired in the semis - Roger or Pedro? And, what is their age difference? I am yet to see Roger physically tired. Emotionally drained - yes. He can play for three more years easily, though not at his peak, but enough to beat tennis machines. I only hope that he has overcome his fear of machines. Who isn't?

Both Pete and agassi call FedEx as the greatest Tennis player ever. They have seen Bjorg, lyndl ,rod laver and many other greats at their best but they still say roger is the best ever. This ends it all.No stats needed to prove who is the greatest ever.

I wonder how many of those wins by Pete's rivals, have come on grand slams. When it comes to grand slams top 5 players including sampras play(ed) at a different level.
