June 1 st and it could have easily ended for fedex .............nadal was out yesterday and chances for fedex were bright but the next day tommy haas took a 2-0 sets lead over fedex and iyt seemed all over but fedex humiliated haas in the next three to take the match 7-6, 7-5, 4-6, 0-6, 2-6
even though its a tough road ahead roger i still feel that he will have play out of the skins to win this.

Nadal is a much better player ... Had Fedex must have been shitting in his pants thinking about losing to Nadal in the finals. Just lucky to escape the wrath of Nadal. Did you forget how he was crying "God it hurts" after losing in the Wimbledon finals last year. Cry baby Federer.

Well for a man who has never lost so many games. It is always difficult. I am sure he is better prepeared now. Fedex has got a great game. Now he is emotionally better as well. He is unbeatable yet again

everyone has a lot of expectations from fedex thats y he said it. nadal is just in his playing phase from where he can or cant win GS.
maybe ur parents might not have expected u to come in this world and post such nonsense comments

Dude i am a very big Federer fan, infact one of the biggest, but telling those who say Sampras is the best dono abcd of tennis shows your ignorance, And now where did Krajicek come from , i agree he was a good grass court player and the only one 2 defeat Sampras in his prime, but still he is now where compared to Sampras, how many Wimbledon did he win huh. Sampras is the best ever grass court player and that would never change unless Federer wins almost every Wimbledon from now on. And nadal will remain the best ever clay court player, The Musters , Kuertens,Brugueras all were very good in clay, but they never dominated clay seasons llike Nadal does If this is wat you learnt following Tennis for the last 25 yrs i pity you
Re: Re: Re: Re: Federer, The God
by bango tango on Jun 02, 2009 12:23 AM
thats y Sampras has this record : Krajicek 4-6, Harhuis 0-3 , hewitt 4-5, Stich 2-3 , bruguera 0-2 , Paes0-1....thats y Paes defeated him in straight sets in straight sets in Pilot Pen tennis tournament... btw, u should know the comment given by Agassi abt Krajicek , " had he not been plagued by injuries, he would have been invincible" ... n u didnt understand y i said Muster is the Sultan of clay....dude, he had to practise in a wheel chair ..... n y nadal is so concerned abt drug tests ..

How many of those matches were on grass ? Do you have those numbers. And how many retired players have beaten the current and inform world number 1 ?

ve u heard of a player Wayne Ferriera...he was considered to be one of the perfect player of grass courts...unfortunately he could not show that in the slams... do u ever follow tennis apart from the slams ???

Its australian open man. Even u can imagine that federer will reach the finals. it says his ablility.
Re: Federer, The God
by Varun ccs on Jun 02, 2009 01:49 AM
You don't have to compare god with Fedex. Fedex has already been humbled by Nadal. And I think if someone deserves to be number one, he should do it like Nadal did. Push aside the inform and existing No 1.

obvoiusly , i would say King Federer :-) ...wt abt u ??? ...though it ll be a good match btwn him n murray ...the only obstacle for Federer ... :-)

I'm just a nobody in tennis world. I don't watch each and every tennis match. My favourites for the title are already gone (Nadal, Djokovic). But I think neither Federer nor Murray is going to make it.
Re: federer is back!!!!!!
by Narakasur on Jun 01, 2009 09:57 PM
Humble and Federer realy dont hand in hand. Do you remember when he famously said "Nadal has a place in history that he is always 2nd to me".
Re: Re: federer is back!!!!!!
by rahul arora on Jun 01, 2009 10:08 PM
shd he b humble. he has done all the hard work 2 reach where he is now. btw wat is the use of being humble? wat do u want 2 prove?
Poor Rafa..he is human after all...but he will be back for sure. Feddi's 5th consecutive Wimbledon dream was stopped last time. This time its Rafa's turn. Anyway tennnis is the winner.
Re: Shame...that Rafa will not be there in the finals..
by rahul arora on Jun 01, 2009 09:38 PM
for ur info fedex won 5 cons wimbledon and was aiming for his sixth
What happend after half the match was really amazing. What a turnaround, Too hard to believe because last two sets won so comfortably not very closely fought.
Re: Hope this match was not fixed!!!!!!!!
by tullaram on Jun 01, 2009 09:37 PM
INDIANS LIKE U CAN ONLY THINK OF FIXED MATCHES...AS CRICEKT AND MOST RECENTLY IPL WAS TOTALLY FIXED...NO ONE CAN DENY IT..
GROW UP MAN..
THERE ARE BETTER SPORTS TO WATCH.
IF U DONT LIKE TENNIS JUST DONT WATCH INSTEAD OF HUMILIATING THE GAME AND ITS GREATEST TORCH BEAERS-FEDERER AND RAFA
I met Federer aggasi in the Burj al arab in the year 2006 when they had come to play the dubai Open. They are very friendly and shook hands and posed for photofgraphs.the only one with tremendous attitude was Sania Mirza .man she has an attitude and she is not evenin the top 10 lol
Re: I have met federer
by wizardo id on Jun 01, 2009 09:25 PM
she's arrogant because she's a no one in tennis like anna, yet she became famous for being famous
Re: I have met federer
by Narakasur on Jun 01, 2009 09:31 PM
I have met Chandragupta Maurya, Samrat Ashok, Mangal Pandel and Gandhiji. They all shook hands with me and signed autographs for me. Only one with attitude was Advani and Modi. They are not even in the top whatever
This comeback win over Tommy Haas could perhaps be the best thing that could have have happened to Federer as it now warms him up against any complacency and over confidence.
Looking back on his today's match, it seems that Federer will have to play his best to win this year's French Open though I must say that he has the best chance this time around. If he wins his next match either against Roddick or Monfils, then he becomes the hot favourite. I hope that he wins. He is really a great player.
