these fellows live to provide entertainment to others at living lives under tremendous pressure themselves. when they live, they appear rich but are paupers, and when they die, their death is glorified but their memories fade quickly. just look at lady diana, and recently, michael jackson. let's see how long the world will remember him. and let's not forget what is the fate of all time boxing champion, who is playing in streetside circuses for livelihood.

No one is being forced to take part in it. F1 is not a "job" that the drivers are taking part in. They are in it because they are extremely passionate about it and love being involved in it. They understand the risks as well. People who spend their lives doing what they are passionate about are happier. Also, the entertainment that the spectators get is just a positive by-product. All sports people entertain but they primarily do it for themselves, not for others. Concerning their death, as time goes everyone will get forgotten. But these guys are the ones that will be remembered the longest. Do you think Bradman, Michael Jackson, Roger Federer, Schumacher will ever be forgotten ? As long as their records stand, they will always be mentioned and consequently remebered.
