Andy Roddick deserved to win.............
by TomandJerry on Jul 06, 2009 03:04 PM  | Hide replies

Andy Roddick deserved to win evn though Roger Federer won his record making 15 grand slam title but actualy the player who dominated the entire match was none other than Any himself, What a spectacular performance by him, In fact in the 2nd set tie breaker when was leading 6-2 and having 4 set points he bcae complacent and allowed Roger Federer to make a strong comeback and win the 2nd set and then take 2-1 lead, Then Andy Roddick fought back like a true champ and held his serve till the final set at 14-14 but he came under pressure and could not hold his nerve and serve and thus lost the match and with that the championship but he was the true hero of yesterdays' match and totally deserved to win........

Roger is peerless. He is still the undisputed champ without an iota of doubt.

Yeah...when it mattered. Andy choked when he was 6-2 up in the second set tie break, or he would have been two sets up.

Unlucky Roddick ...
by Rahul Kumar on Jul 06, 2009 01:43 PM  | Hide replies

I feel really sad for Andy Roddick.Yesterday he was a better player than fedex but couple of mistakes or loss of concentration costed him dearly. It was a menatl game rather than physical in the final set.Anyhow Roddick is surely to bounce back as he is completely transformed player.May GOD bless him.

i absolutely agree with you. Roddick played an exceptional tennis and had fedex always in tenterhooks!
i hope he will keep up this form for the next year and win the trophy!

I always believed in his ability but unfortunately few people started writing him off.
Fed Ex is going great guns and very strong at the moment.
Well done Roger. I wish you set the record of slams at 20 titles......

Nothing could have stopped Federer from winning since, it is written in the Books.
But Yes, I have missed Nadal
