What I like about Saina Nehwal is her attitude. She's entirely focused__ not distracted by fame, and a tendency to get carried away by glamour, and all trappings that seem to fall in the laps of the top sports-persons in the country.
Her humility covers the steely determination and courage she displays on the court, taking on the mighty chinese/ malaysians / indonesians who have been dominating the scene. She's a perfect sportwoman and highly dedicated to her calling.
One can only wish her all the very best and that she becomes World Champ, and brings more glory to India through her unparalleled achievemnets.
The success that Saina has achieved is remarkable! It requires great self-belief & the will to win.
I only hope she focuses on further heights to give us all something to cheer. Padukone just happenned with great style, finesse but could not hold on as Martin Frost was a nemesis sort of, not to mention the Indonesians & Chinese. Gopichand was a flash in the pan, short lived!
The attitude of Chinese is to win everytime. Indonesia & Malaysia have depth & great infrastructure. Saina has to keep fit & enjoy the game but take the breaks as they come. To get ahead & stay ahead is the toughest part. Many wilt under pressure.
In a way, it is good that Saina is left alone & left to speak with her racquet! She is still young & miles to go & savour the success. She needs a good attitude which she seems to have! Plus loads of LUCK!! That we all will pray for!
