Yes ...Roger Won...But andy Roddick has won many Fans hearts as he played some outstanding Tennis. Roger federer has been a great player and it was his destiny to win it. You can see after the match how disappointed Andy roddick was as he gave everything he Had !!! Well done Roddick and congrats Roger ...Go fedex express before Nadal mail comes....

Roddick deserves to win.He still may not,but he has been the better player in this game.I know the Fedex fans will come out frothing at their mouths like mad dogs to condemn me for saying this,but truth is the truth.Roddick played better in this game and deserved to win.

Sorry buddy, Roddick lost in this epic final match. Andy may be deserving, still he has to do his bit to win.

He did everything,wasn't broken till the last game and should have won the second set.Fedex rode his luck to win.

Mr Anurag show your hand to some pandit & try ur luck. You can win more than federer. Rodick deserve to win but he did not. It might be some luck for federer that is sure, but class & luck make anybody champion, not luck or class alone.

@ anurag.....u r right....roddick absolutely deserved to win....but then even roddick wud ackowledge that.....this is what separates the great from the best....roddick is one of the best....but federer, as sampras said....is a legend....@ michael....u r right....federer did his extra bit right....roddick folded up in those final minutes and federer pounced.....gr8 game though....and true champions...both of them....sport is but cruel...

Its still neck to neck,Fedex may still scrape through,but whatever happens, Fedex's aura of invincibility has been shattered, first by Nadal and now by many others.
Though federer has won all the grand slams and is inching towards winning a record sixth wimbledon, Sampras stands far ahead of him as the all time best. I still remember the class he had during his day. Federer is a real good player, but sampras is sampras...

Its a matter of opinion. They can never be pitched agaainst each other on equal terms because of the time barrier.

Different people can have different opinions. Sampras's popularity was partly due to the fact that he was one of the last great players who played the 'serve and volley' brand of tennis. Fed is an outstanding player and there should never be any doubt about it. It is high time the fans respected both these great players and moved on rather than trying to figure out who was better. Comparisons between eras in any sport is not possible.
......whoever comes on the way............my vote is always for the great Champ Pete Sampras...........i really enjoyed each and every second of his game............thanks a ton to God for making me enjoy his game in my life......my all time favorite tennis hero!!!!!
