I like the way he is replying to his criticizers. For his criticizers Federer was finished last year, but he came back strongly and won US Open. Now he is going to win Aus Open. Hats off to the true champ.
For Federer criticizers I want to say "Don't do anywhere, the champ is here".

Good Morning Mr Rathore. I reproduce here a message posted by some A. Singh earlier on this board. Seems a reasonable enopugh guy. What have you to say on this?
by A Singh on Jan 29, 2009 09:07 PM Permalink Let us not be blinded by emotion. I have already said that Federer is a better player. There is no argument over this. But Nadal not just beat him at Wimbledon last year, he came very close the year before that. Federer was very lucky to somehow scrape through in 2007 (He was the first one to acknowledge this.) and he was no less luckier that the 2008 final did not end in 3 sets for him. And on Clay, of course Federer has no clue how to handle Nadal. Look at the retrieval capability of Nadal. Type of surface has ceased to matter for him. His never say die spirit and self-belief have made him an invincible champion. Nobody present or past played Tennis with so much passion. Nobody played like Nadal. Federer is great, but Nadal has all the wherewithals to surpass him. Let us not grudge Nadal his achievements. He has earned them by the sweat of his brow. Best of luck to the Tennis fans for a Grand Final on Sunday. May the better player on the day win.

1.Federer is only player who stopped Nadal continuous victory on clay court. So saying he has no clue on clay is wrong. 2.You can also say Nadal is lucky last year to win Wimbledon. 3.Nadal couldn't won any tournament after olympic. He was beaten in some occasion by his opponents(A.Murray, Monfolis), while Federer has won 2 tournamets including US Open.

No doubt Fedex is champ, but don't forget its Nadal who has derailed him empteen times at the majors. I bet, he will not allow him to reach 14th pole. Nadal Rules Boss.
Federer will try all out to equal Sampras record of 14 Grand Slam Titles . However Nadal will be in all respects be his nemesis .Let the guy who plays impeccable tennis prevail and let the Spectators and TV Viewers be entertailed to some very good tennis
hi i think fed will definitely loose in final. He is mentally no too strong a player. He can beat players whom he bet many times but when it comes to players like Nadal, Murray or for the matter Novak he simply doesn't have it in his mind that he can beat them. He lacks self belief when playing against above said players particularly vs Nadal. When Fed plays Nadal his mind set will be similar to the mind set of roddick when he plays fed.
so Cheer up guys nadal may not look great in shot making like fed. But he will win for sure in 4 sets. Already Nadal has shown that he is better than Fed he is just 22 and won 5 slams. what did Fed win when he is 22. Nadal already had wimbledon in his pocket.

Nadal will retire in next couple of years. Unlike Nadal, Fed does not use sheer strength he has impeccable game to back it up. Nadal is like Waqar Younis who will go bust once energy is lost, Fed is like Mcgrath long time player..Nadal cannot sustain this level for long. But No doubt, Nadal will beat Fed in this final if he crosses Verdasco today. Both are simply great in their own way, but purists, critics and fans like to watch class and finnesse and not sledge hammer..human topspin machine..

bang on !!!! fed is gonna win !!!!!! nadau lost hard court event (US OPEN) to Murray !!!! murray lost to fed in the final !!!! tour games r much more different than GRANDSLAMS.So when it comes grandslam fed is unstoppable !!! so nadal has a very little chance coz fed is very determined this time !!!! wait for two more days results will be out wwe don't need to fight !!!!!!!happy times ahead !!!!
No matter how hard you work, Federer is always there to torment you. Definitely, he has raised the bar beyond anyone's capabilities. Shouldn't the game be made more competent by having more reservations. I therefore set these rules. - Nadal and federer should be in the same half of the draw in these opens. So that we can atleast see someone else in the finals. - 50% of the points should be reserved for the opponents. The players should fight for the other 50%. - If the opponent wins two of the first three sets, the match should be declared over. If Nadal or Federer win the two of them, then the match continues for 5 sets. - There should be a possibility of a draw. - Federer must retire by 2011. - Normal rules apply for games involving other players.
This will give humans, a chance to win grand slams. After all, Federer is God !!

Did you read the last line? Lemme repeat it, "Federer is God !!" God alone can help humans win. I am a big fan of fedex and I want him to win. Somehow, I just have a soft corner for Roddick.

We can have a fifth grand slam (The Baski Open) where the above rules can b followed. The only question is that who will take part in that tournament.
We can't produce world class players in any game which involves more money. In India, all the parents think only way to earn money is through styding some professional course. So from childhood onwards kids are encouraged to study and not to play any game. So... Not going to happen in near future...
