Chess: Sasikiran held by Motylev

why cant all these sasikiran, ganguly, abhijeet kunte, thipsay, play like anand. all these except anand are only mediocre. if one indian can do it why cant the others. if not #1 like anand atleast they must achieve top 10.
now dont ask what about me, i'm not in chess profession.

the answer is simple. They lack the hardwork, dedication, focus, etc that Anand has.

What differentiates the super-elite players from each other.. ? The answer is the hard-work.

While Anand works 9 hrs a day , with extreme focus. Not sure if the same can be said of the others.

It is the same difference that separates all human beings. Some are born with extra natural talent. But how you high you go depends on the hardword you do.
