Of late, Federer has started boasting about his fitness and his increased confidence and things like that. He should stop cringing and concentrate on winning. As it happens, anty player in top 100 can beat him. Will my friend Anurag Rathore try to furnish a comprehensive list of players who beat Federer at least once last year? The list is a big one.

Federer was feeling weaker last year because of viral fever effects. This time he is much stronger. Final is going to be between Federer and Murray like US Open.
Some idiots here say that Rafa only won 2 grand slams last year, and one was his favoourite surface French Open. That shows how foolish and uninformed they are.By that same argument,Wimbledon is Fedex favourite surface, and even there he was thrashed by Rafa.Pathetic.He scraped through finals in 2007, and was beaten in 2008,both on his favourite surface, by Rafa.On the other hand,in the French final Fedex was trounced in straight sets. What a shame for Fedex and his blind fans.

How long after he started playing did it take Fedex to win 3 in a year? And how many times has he done it? And how many years senior to Rafa is he?If you can predict Rafa's career from your keyboard, maybe you can tell us who will win the next Indian elections? The next World Cup cricket?Who will be next US president and UK PM?Get over your powertrip and deal with it...your a spent force like Fedex.

Rafa is on his peak from 4 years. He was able to win Wimbledon last year because Federer was out of form. Now Rafa form is declining. He lost some matches after US Open. Don't expect that Rafa will win 3 Grand Slam in a year now.
no player recently got better of fedrer as raffa does.He dethrones fedex from no.1 so king is Raffa and he is future of Tennis...n whenever both came face to face Raffa records speaks. In final also Raffa got better wining percentage.Rafa the best

First Rafa should be able to compete with Federer on Hard Court. Why Rafa is not reaching Aus Open and American Open final to meet with Federer on Hard court?

Maybe Fedex should be able to compete with Rafa on clay first? After all,he is "the greatest ever",is senior and more experienced than Rafa, and has had so many more efforts at the French Open than Rafa at AUS/US Open.Lets see Fedex take the lead and beat Rafa at Roland Garros.

Sampras was also great. How many clay court tournaments he won? Federer is dominating on Hard court and Grass court. If Rafa will play more matches on Hard cort and Grass court with Federer, head to head record will be in favor of Federer.
Next round fluke king Fedex will be trounced by Marat Safin. Then Fedex can go home to Switzerland and cool his heels, and watch his TV where Rafa will lift the trophy. That way his fear psychosis of Nadal will be treated, as he does not have to directly face Rafa and get smashed all over court.

Federer beats Safin in straight forward sets by 6-3, 6-2, 7-6. Now nobody can stop him.

I will say that a 4 set victory isn't exactly a "thrashing".A good example of thrashing is Rafa's win over Fedex in the Roland Garros finel last year.Remember??
One can never really write of Federer in the grand slams. Whatever his performances in other ATP tournaments, he has this uncanny ability to win Grand Slams, which separates the men from the boys. People say he had a bad last year, but most would have been happy to be in a French and Wimbledon final, Australian semi final, and win a U.S Open. So never count Federer out !
