My heart went 0 to 100b/m as i followed u thru the marathon thru this article! Now, with adrenaline pumping hard in my body, i m aching to put on my running shoes ;-) !!!

Great Job Rakhshita. Like u i too was first timer to this marathon. I had participated in Full Marathon. Managed to complete in 5 and half hours. I am extremely happy about u. great job once again. i too look forward to next marathon, keen to run half marathon under 2 hours.

What is the point of holding it when the temperature is 35C? No wonder the same foreign athletes do not show up every year. They would have gotten fried in Mumbai heat. Cool weather of Delhi in Jan or even Bangalore would have been better. Best would be to move it to a clean location like Kerala.
Other than scoring political points and an opportunity for film crazy public what did the marathon achieve?
