Somdev could have turned pro earlier, but he went on to finish his graduation in US. Rafa turned pro at 14 before even finishing school.James Blake went to Harvard got his associate degree turned pro at the age of 21. That does not make him a bad player, he has been a top 10 player not so long ago. The other players who finished graduation and took to tennis were Chris Woodruff of USA Benjamin Becker of Germany, Brian Vahaly of USA and Davide Sanguinetti of Italy whom I can remember. All of them held TOP 50 ranking at somepoint of their careers.So no comparisons please!!!

I doubt if media will be able to do much damage to him. He has a very steady head on his shoulder. But I still believe, unless Sania goes Ana Kournikova way, she has talent and she can comeback in a year or two.
vijay amritraj father of prakash is an american citizen, and never stops praising anglo-saxon players of america, britain& australia.he covers up for the rude shameful behaviour of the aussie hewitt who when playing us player of african descent blake, passed rascist comments on both blake & the chair umpire who too happened to be of african descent.we can't expect these amritraj's to do any good for indian tennis time has come to ask them to remain & play in usa, where his son has no chance of ever appearing in any tournament as his ranking is around 500. you will never find vijay praising federer, nadal, djokovic, safin as none of them are from usa/gb/australia.vijay poses as if he too is an anglo-saxon wish his colour was like theirs.

Mahimgarg why dont you learn some humility from OZ Tennis which as you have testified is the Epitome of humility. Your bashing of Bishwanath Roy has a very racy flavor to it.

People like Vijay Amrithraj have inferiority complex and hence they go out of their way to look very confident and try to fit in with the most accepted. Just like lot of yuppy Indians in the US.
The truly Indian has beaten the American. Prakash Amritraj should be kicked out of India, unless he has an Indian passport. Only one supporting him is Bhupathi, who together with Prakash, insulted our Olympian, Leander Paes.

Leander Paes is a true Indian patriot who is very talented , confident and humble.He should be the role model for Somdev.

don't believe everything wiki says..but that said Leander is a class act. Hesh and Kash and Fors (and all the other epithets you can think of for the remaining players) are slumdogs.
