People expect a lot
by India on Jan 15, 2009 08:04 PM

Sania is not a top quality tennis player. She plays as well as she can to her ability which is not to the expectation of her fans. There lies the problem. Why should people care, whene Sania herself is not bothered how whe plays? Sania should concentrate more on doubles because she will lose in the early rounds in singles. People should not expect too much from Sania Mirza.

Sania Mirza and Francesca Schiavone's were handed a straight-set defeat (5-7, 1-6) by unseeded opponents (Spanirad Arantxa Parra Santonja and Edina Gallovits of Romania) at the doubles event of the USD 220,000 Hobart International WTA tournament on Wednesday.

Funtastic comeback :)

sania- sick of her
by naga sekhar on Jan 15, 2009 07:45 AM

Please don't discuss about sania anymore. She doesn't deserve that. She always comes with an excuse when ever she loses a match. Its a shame for a sports person. Being in professional tennis for so many years, she hasn't improved her serve in the game. That shows her attitude and her level of practice, commitment. But she always feels she did wonders in tennis. Forget about her. Talk something about Saina, who is doing a better job in Shutle.

All the best
by Chang Edmyname on Jan 15, 2009 01:38 AM

Hope her recovery from injury is complete and non-recurring, and that will give her the chance to rise up the rankings again. It will be fun and interesting to follow her rise up the ladder this year and I for one am looking forward to this year for her. All the Best Sania - looking forward to some good tennis....
