WHY IS IT THAT WE HAVE ONLY ONE DECENT PLAYER ON THE SCCENE IN ANY INDIVIDUAL SPORT?BE IT SANIA MIRZA FOR WOMENS TENNIS OR SAINA NEHWAL IN BADMINTON.THE DOMESTIC CIRCUIT IS JUST NOT COMPETITIVE ENOUGH OR ELSE WE WOULD HAVE ATLEAST 2 TO 3 PLAYERS OF THE SAME CLASS AT ANY GIVEN POINT OF TIME.

Because we do not have infrastructure and apart from cricket no other sport gets corporate money. The one or two who come up do it with their own talent / resources. Example - Abhinav Bindra - his father built a private shooting range for him.

India is a land of diversity with so many different Languages and people so many different Classes (financially) All of us may not be an expert in English Language. We need to appreciate the courage of people like Shiv swaroop to come in and converse in English to put a point forward. Let's be One India !!!
As Mahesh Bhupathi & Leander Paes are ageing, its time tfor Somdev to carry the Indian Flag high in international tennis circuits. He is the future of Indian Tennis!

Bloody fool, somdev is a tripuri. and tripura is an indian state. Go to a primary school and learn some Geography and about your nation.
Watching him play against Romania in the Davis Cup was a treat and he is a very sweet person outside the court as well when he joined us a nice photo shoot. Well done Somdev, this is indeed one of the stepping stones in your career. Hope you will shine brighter and elevate India's level in World Tennis in the near future. Jai Hind.
Like in every field, Indians are now making their presence felt in the sports arena as well...keep up the good work...take some pressure off the cricketers to get all the glory...follow sania mirza and dont do anything tht she does after getting all the fame...and rest assured u will be a successfull tenis player for a long time to come....THANKS FOR MAKING US ALL PROUD!!!
