Why is the rabid doomsayers and soothsayers not coming out and talking about Indian hockey. You all had the time to vent out your fury and frustration and impotence on what India can achieve and what it cannot.
The Indian Hockey team cannot ever reach the same level of adulation that the Cricket team receives , but its a sport and the guys who play it for the country do it with every bit of energy in them.
Newzealand is a tough country , tough blokes , they dont have a history of defeat or depression to fall back on like some other countries , they fight on.
Its good we have managed to have the upper hand till now. The Ghosts of Dhyanchand will rest for some more time , but if these youngsters keep proving their mettle , then with a cautious optimism , we shoud support them and cheer them on like every decent sport lover would do.
