Ever since Bobby Fisher beat Boris Spassky at Reykjavik and then through the long dominance of Gary Kasparov, we Indians fought despair ! We had a SOLE IM in Manual Aaron and this looked like a definite IMPOSSIBILITY in my lifetime at least ! Thanks Vishy... you do have many die hard followers even if cricket and cricketers will continue to hog lots of limelight that should be rightfully yours.....

Anand is in a different league....he plays ina different planet...like Rogere Fedrer did for a few years!
