Which is exactly what the Pakistani army and the ISI want. Are those agitating for smaller states unwittingly falling into the ISI's snare? Or are their demands justified and, if met, will they buttress the republic, not break it?

Points that need thinking about, in the rising clamour for smaller states, and the equally strident outcry against them. Where are we headed? Towards a more representative rainbow republic? Or towards what's on top of the ISI wish list: an India that is not Bharat, but Balkanistan?

well said, Arun. This is the bitter Truth & Reality of our country. But 99% of our people will NOT acccept these truths and realities; becoz our people are very happy to live in the 'dream/fantasy world" by saying "we are the greatest intelligent people in this world", "We will be superpower in 2020", etc, etc.

its such a shame.. we don't have any good atheletes. or sports facilities in india..
and yet we are spending millions of dollars in hosting a sports event..
if the games were held in canada.. it would save india of the humiliation of a pathetic organizer..and also could use 1/100th of that money to improve sport..

Delhi C'wealth? But when, where?
by Avi Indian on Dec 24, 2009 01:54 PM  | Hide replies

Stadiums for Delhi C'wealth will not be completed before 2020 so where will these athletes come to participate? Only Sheela Dixit and Suresh Kalmadi will run in their houses for all the events. They even can not go on roads as everywhere will be JAM. Ha ha ha.

Who cares if athletes from a dying country, a third rate power are not coming to Delhi? Come on, they should be encouraged to stay away. We don't need those bums.

they win more gold medals in one olympic games than what we have won so far. u r obviously the type of person who will still talk about milkha singh and PT usha as if they were any match for the likes of usain bolt or michael johnson. just admit that the country is only good at voting for idiots to power.
