Am a big fan of your style of chess. I follow all your games keenly including the recently concluded Rapid Blitz.
Please don't go by what other people say about chess getting younger etc. The world has never seen an Indian world chess champion before you. So no one knows whats the peak time for an Indian. You have been performing at peak levels for a few years now and I firmly believe you have another 10-15 years of great chess in you.
I hope you come to the US sometime. You are welcome to stay with us, maybe I can learn a pawn trick or two. :)
Many Many Happy returns of the day, Anandji. I sincerely wish and pray that you maybe able to defend the title this year too. I have always prayed for you whenever I hear the news of championship that you are participating since 1987. Thank for remaining an inspiration and pride for this generation of Indians. May God bless you in abundance.
Hai vishy wishing you all the best life can offer and best wishes for the upcoming world championship in April-May, 2010. I still dream the day I received a certificate from you at St.Bede's Anglo-Indian HSS, Chennai in 1987. You are the idol for many indians.
