Re: Cristiano Ronaldo

ahaan..this sounds interesting
Can you tell me what good is C.Ronaldo for?? his best asset >> Diving
though he has good pace, strong shoot n nice header..but acceleration is not that good, not an effective dribbler (just do thousand stepovers to flaunt)
On a contrary, Messi is the most effective dribbler needing just three touches to get past three opponents, has a lightening pace and acceleration, dont dive and cry like a sissy and is always ready to take the charge
and if u r talking about media..Ronaldo still receives more publicity..but everyone knows who is a better player
Moreover, during last yr when Ronaldo won this coveted trophy, Messi was the one named as best player in Champions League..it speaks for itself
n C.Ronaldo is a big game flop..while Messi is always a big game hero.
Messi, congratulations to you, but - remeber the nation is bigger than ur club, the club makes money for u, but the nation made Messi the footballer out of u. Focus on w/c 2010 now mate its high time u repaid ur debt to the nation. Viva la Argentina!

This season La Liga is not being telecast in India. The Contract of ESPN with Sky Sports of UK has not been renewed. Coz some one at ESPN think that BPL is the best thing in this world. But the truth is that "Champagne Football" is only played at Barcelona, and best players of this world play in Spanish Primiera. ESPN ppl have been fooling everyone, including themselves.
This year La Liga is being telecasted all over the world but the Indian Sub-continent. So u can understand from this. BPL has a hype only in England and one of its previous colonies i.e. India.
ps: If u want to watch last El Gran Classico, the match between Barca and Madrid, then may be Ten Sports will be showing it tonight in association with Barca TV.

Thanks Lawyer. I really pity the powers-be at ESPN. May be ESPN thinks that EPL is enough for India. But I guess the real factor which weighed against broadcasting the La Liga is this 9 country/World game called Cricket.

There are no real stars in EPL, the real footballers are all in La Liga. Its is sad that the channels can't see this.

lol .... because Football is a team game. Messi plays good because barca play good. Barca plays good because Messi is a good player.
Messi at Argentina doesnt play good, as rest of the Argies havnt been in good form. They dont have clear in their mind, whether to play romantic football or play to win. :) one player is never decisive.

its just because Maradona used 71 players and 10 different formations to play with..thereby never letting any chance for any player to settle down in a system

ONE REASON MAY BE SUPER RICH CLUBS BUY THE BEST AVAILABLE IN THE WORLD.AND IT HELPS THE TALENTED PLAYERS TO BECOME SUPERSTARS WITH THE HELP OF OTHER SKILLED PLAYERS BUT FOR THE NATIONS IT IT DIFFCULT TO GET 15/20 PLAYERS OF SAME CLASS&PLAYING FOR NATION YIELD LITTLE MONEY

By giving away this type of award to foreign players means 'you keep refrained from playing for your motherland'!

speak only when u r clear on facts
if messi is playing football at all then its only because of Barca. barca has been supervising him since he was 12. had barca not taken care of this hormone deficient boy, he wouldnt have grown at all, forget growing as a footballer.
so he is completely a European that way, not a foreigner. i hope u get it. :)
