Rafa's peak has gone......
by Anurag Rathore on Aug 31, 2009 06:46 PM

He can win 2-3 GS more, most probably french open. Murray, Roddick, Djokovic, Tsonga, Soderling, Del porto are going to be big headache for Rafa. I don't think he is able to tackle them easily like Federer is doing despite he is not at his best.

More than feeling irritated or angered on reading these type of comments.. I feel very pathetic for the people who post these type of comments. I feel for their parents thinking about how much sufferings they have to go through in bringing up this mentally retarted child. You may be a fan of someother player.. but that does'nt mean that you can talk whatever you want. Retards like you will remember only scratching stuff.. but true fans of the sport will remember players for their achievement. I do not even want to say that Rafa has achieved so much n what have you done..! It's a shame doing that. Sad to see these kind of people in discussion forums vomitting their filthy n ugly mindset.

Like how Roger won the French Open after Rafa left... hahaha... FYI.. in grand slams Roger defeated Rafa in 2 Wimbledon finals.. Rafa beat Roger in 1 wimbledon and 1 Aussie Open finals, 3 French Open finals and 1 french open semi finals. Sure Roger is a legend.. but definitely Rafa is a champion and your comment shows that you know nothing about tennis.. but read only headlines from places just to show off that you too know things., huh...

Well, Rafa played that french open which Roger won. Rafa losing in Quarters cant take the credit away from Roger. He went to final by winning six matches on clay. Rafa lost the fourth match.

When you compare head-head that is what you see. Roger always came to finals on clay and only lost to Rafa, but Rafa lost to different players on hard and grass so obviously Roger will have a poor record against him. Both are great players but dont beat-up on one to make the other look good. Enjoy their tennis.

I would have appreciated if your response was to Padmavathi. I always enjoy good tennis n I am going to the US Open this Wednesday n Thursday to see n enjoy both Federer n Nadal play their earlier round matches. Nadal's loss this year was for obvious reasons.. his fitness which he never gives as a reason for his losses. But I have to give head to head based reply only if people say that Nadal can win only Federer is not there. I hope you understand the context of my reply.

Rafa is back with more sensiblity
by Padmavathi on Aug 31, 2009 05:13 PM  | Hide replies

Mark these words of Rafa.
The important thing is to win the tournament. It doesn't matter who you win against in the final. For me a win against Roger is always very, very special but I would love to win any Grand Slam against someone in the final. (laughs). Doesn't matter who the rival is.
Good that you are back and that counts.Let the hype of rivals be played by media and don't get carried away.We want you for more years.
