The reason India has remained a third-world country is not becuase of third-class infrastructure but becuase of the third-class mentality of its citizens...why do I say that? We have the so-called 'new generation' of Indians...the MTV viewers name a 43 year old, chain smoking guy (SRK) named as 'Youth Icon' ? What a shame...it should be someone like Vijender Singh who should be Youth Icon for young Indians...not some loser Khan financed by criminal elements. this guy can beat SRK in every front from looks to strength to character. Untill Indian men recognize right role models and not go for the paper-icons created by underworld-funded newsmedia, we will remain a 4th world country (it would also help if Indian men stopped carrying a comb in thier back pocket...trust me a chimp will still look a chimp...unless it excercises ofcourse).

Six messages to this article so far and all of them negative. No wonder Indians sports are lagging so much behind with such a negative mindset. Some people just make a career out of criticizing others when they themselves are useless. Even though its only a bronze medal, if it is so easy, why no one ever got it before him in boxing? People like Vijender slog for hours without getting any financial support from the government or having any sponsoring companies unlike our cricketers. They deserve every bit of our appreciation and support. If someone like him who won an olympic gold gets such a shabby treatment, how are people going to feel motivated towards a career in sports? Also FYI, he is currently ranked second in the world in his weight category so its not like he has been partying since he won the Bronze.

the japanese trawlers had brisk crab business until the indian trawlers set foot into their market - the indian crabs were live and fresh and came extremely cheap.
The japs were astonished and asked the Indians, "how on earth are you able to offer live crabs at such a low price and still make huge profits?"
The Indians said - "Oh thats easy - we don't need refrigeration or costly storage on our ships - all we do is, dump all the crabs in huge tanks on the ship. These are Indian crabs. If one crab tries to escape back into the sea, 10 crabs will pull it down".

Yawn, old story, heard it many times before. Are the Indian species crabs or frogs?
