thats y sampras bad win-loss record against so many players :-) ...even our Leander f**kked him in straight sets when he was no.1 :-).. dont expect Fedex loosing to a player ranked outside 100

sampras never reached final of french open whereas fedex has reached 4 and won it once. fedex has more gs than sampras. so that says it all.

In all honesty it shows Sampras Humility. Sampras didn't win the frenh open because there were quality Clay court players then

But now there is only one Rafael Nadal and Federer could never get past him
last yr @ this same Roger's Masters @ Montreal, God Federer had lost in the 1st rnd to Karlovic , but won the US open... bt 4 sure , nadal wil be out of top 10 soon :-) ...his style of play ( just like a mad bull) wont allow him to play 4 longer duration in tennis circuit... forget abt all the records, GOD FEDERER has played 756 consecutive matches without retiring from a single match , without skipping a tournament , which GOD even wont dare to challenge this....one of the finest atheletes ever born.... n dont say abt sampras,who used to vomit during 5 setters :-)

Sampras never allows opponents to take him to a five setter.....just because Sampras retired it doesn't mean he no good....remember the exhibition match which sampras played after 5 yrs with Federer - he could still beat Federer comfortably. No ill feelings but donot compare sampras with Federer, both are greats.

Sampras lost it. He didn't win. And in any case....Sampras himself acknowledged that Fed Ex is the greatest so stfu..

Jayanta , I have been watching tennis for over 2 decades .and i can clearly say Sampras is the best. Roger Federer is not that good.
During the 90's there were several Grass court,Clay court specialist
Grass: Becker Edberg Ivansevic Tim Henman
Clay: Jim Courier Sergei Bruguera Gustavo Kuerten Thomas Muster Yevgeny Kafelnikov Andrei Medevedev
Hard-court: Patrick Rafter Andre Agassi and all were in their prime
but tennis lacks quality now so a guy like federer is able to Win

@KPrabu - i dont think u r watching 4 last 2 decades...coz Sampras vommitted agnst Alex Corretja in US Open & against Courier in Aus open.. btw, i'm following tennis for last 24 yrs, 24/7 ..

Invanisivic is grass court specialist,ha ha great joke, he's simply destroys his oppents because of his serve.
Nadal's tennis is definitely not looking positive. His opening matches were all too easy and his Del Potro is a very capable player and could reach even number one. Dont wants the real problem nadal has with his knees, it not easy for him to play that for sure. Roger missed a close match and should have won leading in the final set.
