The extra effort put in by Nadal to come up to the level of Federer and cross him (albeit for a brief period) has led to his breakdown.Difficult to come back to the same level immediately.

these are harsh comments for any federer fan.....i disagree with vivek on nadal's difficulty...yes tendonitis is an issue.but if managed well by an athlete by playing in limited tornaments, one can manage it and play at his top level

Saljit, Nadal tried his best to outplay Federer but never crossed him. He played many tournaments even after winning many of them was the fault. He should have rested after winning few.

Ofcourse Nadal is a good player but tendinitis is a problem which will be sustained throughout and am not sure how long Nadal will be able to play.really doubtful and Roger in my opinion is one of the fittest athlete have ever seen (the other person may be Ricky Ponting!!)
