ManU v/s Arsenel
by mahesh soordelu on Apr 30, 2009 05:26 PM

ManU should have sealed the match yesterday itself. They have wasted a few very ggod opportunities. They had a lions share of the possession. Tavez missed an easy chance which should have been a goal. Easily ManU could have won by 3-0. But even though they had possession their synchronisation has been affected since past few weeks. passing is not as immaculate as it has been. But they are improving. Hope they have reserved their best against Barca!!

C. Ronaldo who? Even after seeing his stunner against porto. You must be kidding. Yes at times he acts too much. Gives away possession easily. But truly a great player.

Red Devils will maul Arsenal
by Aryan on Apr 30, 2009 11:41 AM  | Hide replies

The return leg is just gonna be more interesting.
I can see Ronaldo in full form ably assisted by Rooney.
Also the return of Rio will only add to their defence and I see no chance whatsoever for Arsenal to find the ManU goal.
Gr8 going boys!!!!
keep up the good work.
Red Devils will successfully defend their Champions league title in addition to the premier league.

OneSided!!!

The Red Devils were far superior. Infact Arsenal were no match. Some Excellent goalkeeping kept the score at 1-0. It should have been 3-0. I was suprised and dissapointed at the body language of Arsenal. Expected a much better showdown from two elite clubs of the world.

All depends on return fixture
by A on Apr 30, 2009 08:48 AM  | Hide replies

ManU were clearly the better side last night, arsenal hardly had a shot at goal throughout the match. Arsenal will have to raise their game in the return fixture to not only score 2 goals but also stop ManU from scoring. They need to show more commitment as this is the last competition left for them this season. A lot will also depend on fitness of van persie, he was clearly missed yesterday by Arsenal.

I still think Arsenal will give a memorable performance and reach the Final... Go Gunners...

They had one or two chances, one for Fabregas and one in the end for Bendtner... Adebayor was totally owned by Vidic... Frankly i hope Rio misses the return leg, as he and vidic forms the best defensive partnership in the world.

Also arsenal needs to play 4-4-2, as adeabayor struggled playing alone upfront. If van persie is not fit then they must start with eduardo. I cant understand the reason for bendtner coming on before eduardo. Diaby had a very poor game and he shoul be the person dropped for the return leg.
