Chidambaram's folly
by narayanan on Apr 25, 2009 03:44 PM

He unwittingly refused security for IPL 2. It's our own admission of impotency.
Now no country's sports team will visit India.

Why have the kangaroos not shifted their embassy out of India, if security is such a concern?

Good Work Australia

I congrats you to have courage to speak the truth . A country which fails its citizen on safety , food & riches need not waste its resources on showing good face to international arena.
India need to become a secure & prosperous country first which politicians (& public that chooses them) are not letting happen.

by Anjar on Apr 25, 2009 03:32 PM  | Hide replies

these shameless cricketers didn't even bother to turn up for the PadmaShri awards but were shooting advertisement in Delhi.

it implies how much greedy these players are. How many crores of money will satisfy their lust for money ??????

the awards though given by the president are the awards of the nation. the way these cricketers preferred money over awards proves how money-hungry they are.

even i won't go for the prize but i won't prefer shooting for an advertisement also.

Raja is not out of target.

Correctly focused, the great Indian cricketers Mr Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Harbajan Singh should be punished by by withdrawing their Padma Shree awards.

Though they may not care for they have amassed wealth and would continue to do so, it would be a great lesson to them and a deterrent to others playing the same game of avoiding the honour to be bestowed by the President of India.

In short, it is a disgrace that Dhoni and Harbajan are normal and there is not much reaction from the public on their very low attitude.

they have what the media likes most today - wealth. their PR managers pay media enough to make their brand names. why will media blow this serious issue out of proportion.
