Congrates Nadal. No doubt, you are the awesome player. I still remember the finals of Wimbledon last year & the way you played to win the title. Something to cheer for long time.

Is there any in the recent tennis history, which has more odds in favour than nadal winning french. You are simply the greatest ever on clay. Can be greatest ever tennis player of all times.

It is remarkable that Novak Djokovic has won a set against Rafa on clay... it is an achievement in itself.

I am sorry to disappoint you Roger. If Federer ever meets Nadal now, it will be in one of the earlier rounds.

Ranking does not come into the equation at all. Despite being no. 2, Federer has not been able to reach Finals, having been knocked out by lesser players. Federer is expected to continue this habit, and slip to no. 4 in a few months' time, and even lower. After that he will meet Nadal in earlier rounds. Of course there is a remote chance of his getting around Djokovic or Murray in an odd tournament, and reach the final, even after he has slipped in ranking. It is possible, but not probable.

Everybody can proud on Federer. Others are only able to winning tournaments because Federer is declining. He has already given so many unforgetable moments to Tennis lovers. We will always miss invincible Federer which he in not now.

Don't lose heart Roger.
Federer can still beat Nadal.
But before it comes to that, Federer must learn how to beat Djokovic and Murray.

Djokovic is not a big threat for him but Murray is fantastic who has beaten thrice Nadal in last 6 months.

Feddie sure has calibre (he still has) and thats what he has always asked his opponents during his peak... "Do you enough skills to beat me?"

But now, its no longer the ground of calibre that he is finding difficult to stand on... its the mental front which has been distrubing him and he is unable to fathom a way out. The problem that he is facing, especially against Rafa, is more on a mental level, for Rafa asks his opponents... "Do you have enough guts to beat me?" And the answer is a NO... Well, almost always.

Nadal believes he is the king of clay & even in other surfaces! He also believes he will win in the end but Federer believes the other way now!

it was one hell of a game, but previous one with murray got Nadal all over the place. Though i am a Nadal fan he needs to improve his net game.
