Very true, there were not much scope for overtaking which makes the race somewhat boring. Only happening moment was the pitstop blunder by ferrari team
Do you really think that Alonso would have won the race if not for the safety car and the mess that Ferrari did in the pit lane. Wonder why whenever there is a safety car Ferrari always brings both cars in at the same time and makes them wait behind the other leading to added pressure. Massa was the clear champion, the only difference is he was unlucky and Alonso was lucky. Felipe, I am sure you can still win the championship.

dimwit, dont forget he was driving a trash car! others can screw things up with a mclaren and ferrari, but alonso got a small chance and exploited it magnificiently.

Dimwit apurva, renault is normally a trash car but on the day of the singapore grand prix they got their act together in terms of lap times, that dosent mean they deserve to win the race. Can they replicate this performance in the next race, if so Alonso deserves this win.

Alonso drove a brilliant race and i think Nico drove a better race. Safety cars and all are a part of the race and alonso won it briilintly. why couldnt anyone else have used it...?

Sure win strategy for Mallya in the next race - let Bollywood babes present all other drivers with an elephant idol. All others will crash out and Force india will come in 1 & 2!

He sure is one of the fastest drivers on the grid only limited by his machinery at disposal, but given a half chance double world champion was firm to capitalize on his luck (he pitted just before safety car period), and frankly didnt have to overtake anyone. As car after car above him pitted he was in his familiar territory, leading the race from front. His fastest lap was only bettered by Kimi. When I thought Ferrari would make it 1-2 untill Piquest Jr crash simply changed everything. He was fast all weekend and lucky in a measure too. But luck favors the brave.

I have a request... Mallya is an MP or something in Karnataka. Why don't he rename it as Force Karnataka! Next election it will help him also.
to take that junk car into first place from 15th is a great achievement - only alonso can manage that. look at kimi...even with the best car, he is nowhere in competition.

For your kind information eyeopener Kimi has won a race starting from 17th when he was with McLaren in 2005. Dont comment without knowing fully about the sport.
