I am proud of Leander
He is very good in all respect of the game.He is playing wel consistently.Enough to beat anybody. Its just splendid performance.I am proud that somebody from my country India is performing consistently well.He does not talk too much.He concentrates on his game and knows very what are the weaknesses of the opponents and hit the ball accordingly.India will never get such type of player again. He should be used in some format of the game by sports ministry in india once he retires.

God bless you leander.

blame rule of british who made us habit of slavary sir. cricket is just a game. indian madness as indian first prime minister said is to blame for biased treatement to cricket than other games
after 1971 victory over west indies & england the cricket craze triggered & it reached peak in 1983 when Kapil won WC & even the profit making industries like Reliance supported cricket in 1987 by sponsoring WC so cricket has royal support if u want other games to grow then give them support at every front. ask all schools to pay 1 % attention to non cricketing games & remaining 99 % attention to academics because sound mind requires sound body which need excercise do not blame cricket just as to blame pakistan for all evil in india it will happen wolf wolf cry in shepherd boy story

cricket suits india. we dont plan the cities with spaces in India to make courts to play other games.

cricket in india is like gilli danda .. just play it anywhere with modifications to rules. one drop one hand. no hitting beyond our galli. ball falls in sharma jis garden and you are out. single wicket and batting with a wicket. underarm allowed for girls .. rare aunties and didi batsmen have to be slow bowled.

which other game can suit us so much !!!!!

I dont understand why some people are jealous of Cricket and criticise the attention gets in India. Whenever a rare individual triumphs in an international game cricket is criticised. Those people should understand that while tennis could be afforded by only rich and very rich Indians, cricket could be played in any part of the country with least investment and great pleasure. It is a team game. We should thank British for introducing this gentlemen game to our Country. Cricket is criticised by only those who prefer to relax and watch TV and read newspaper to get a good result in once a bluemoon abt an individual Indian (mostly coached abroad) shining in tennis!!
