Somdev is no doubt a future star and the good thing about him is that he has a mature head on his shoulders...this year he has garnered almost as many points as Prakash Amritraj in half the no. of tournaments played...he is the first man in almost 3 decades to defend his NCAA title and is a cult figure in Virginia Tech....way to go Somdev...

i meant- are you kidding, somdev is a year and a half older to nadal and is yet to break the top 200 or play in a slam tennis is a young athlete's sport

Mahim,
just do a quick search on somdev in youtube and have a look at what americans are saying about this young chap. he was no. 1 player in the college circuit before turning pro. you jst cant compare every player with nadal or federer. But Som will break into top 50 quickly. He has the game for that.

i would be over the moon if we have our first ever slam winner but lets be realistic for somdev, its too late, 23 and not ever in top two hundred says it all and there is no rocket science there ok, i would be very glad, if somdev breaks in the top 50, ya, eventhogh u r a mid level player if u break in the top 50 u know patil and prtha, i wish i am proven wrong
