Indians seem to be shouting out "new dawn","beginning" etc. But these victories are against equally poor clubs at Asian level, which is the weakest in the world. They cant win matches even against 2nd div like derby county, watford etc...Let hem perform against atleast b class teams and then let people shout. By contrast, Indian cricketers have beaten Aussies in home, away, neutral venues etc. Thatsd how teams are called best-by beating the best. No wonder 95% of Indians dont care about DEMPO, and are looking forward to Ind-AUs series, which is going to have atleast 20 sponsors and played before housefull crowds. CANT wait for OCtober 9!!!

Hello Sandeep!! U really dont know the value of the football games...haha..wat to say??...u have like typical indian mentality..For ur information no one in this world caring abt cricket except few asian countries(ind,sri.pak)..then who cares abt IND beat AUSSIE or watever..Football is ur Ruling the Entire World..DEMPO really beat gd team...home united vy strong team in singapore..we know the value this win...U just try to come out ur circle..where u living behind 40 years..try to watch EPL matches rather than this stupid cricket.
football coverage needs to improve overall. The articles are written as if it's a political news article. Football articles have to be written in specific formats, which include certain stuff like team composition, what sort of formation was played, score at halftime etc. etc. This is so haphazardly written, that not much can be ascertained from this. Like reaading a cricket match review with no details about runs, overs, maidens, scorecard, 4/6s etc. I think rediff should take some inspiration from other news channels and get this right.

realmadrid: I agree with Dsouza, people who are writting article should explain clearly. This win from Dempo is great news for Indian football fans and it is motivation for all young football players. Also the media and dailys should focus on Indian football to portray more in the sports coulumn instead of less known games which is less number countries only playing.
The sports lovers will like to see the rise of football in India will be thrilled about Dempo making it to last four. The much touted European league also consists of foreign players in almost all clubs and there is nothing wrong with it. Let this be a small step for giant leap to come in future
