It is often heard that the average white American is a dunse, so unlike his counterparts of Europe. And so he should be, considering how he fawns over and makes demi-gods of his heroes of the tinselworld.
The average Indian is the closest the American can get as a copy in this regard - seeing how the film heroes of India (especially in languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) have greater than their bloated life images at home.
No where else in the world can one come across nitwits who can raise members of a make believe world to icon status !!
i'm not a boxer neither a sportsman, but I believe dutt's figure is fit to be a brand ambassador for boxing. No body can be a substitute for him. who ever is, has just copied him or tried to. I admire him. I havnt ever seen him. but his is great to win a million's heart. salman's body also suits. but from where is the question? it's sunjay dutt the hero. so I say its my dutt.

but will your Taj thakre allow non marathi sportsman train in mumbai? All the boxers in last olympics were North indians.
I agree that appointment of a brand ambassador is a welcome move. This will augur well for Indian boxing. But I wish they could have chosen some one like Sunil Shetty rather than a criminal whoc is out of jail only because of his CONGRESS CONNECTION (His sister is Congress MP from Mumbai) and celebrity status.
It is a good way of marketing boxing to a nation which can't see anything beyond 22 yards. It will help uncover good talent which needs grooming before we can claim winning medals
