malswamfela & lalrindika are the future stars. also all players contributed in the u.s. tour & england tour. u can see their photos on the AIFF website
with the infrastucture and trainings the english lads had i believe our boys performance is commendable!way to go and keep it up! u can be at the top too
Great News! But I shudder when I think about their future. No serious intent in this Country to consistently nurture sporting talent. These NE folks are cool!
good show. i noticed that all scorers are Mizo lads. way to go. doesn't this say something? because, by the time these lads are due to get promoted to the 'senior' side they would probably have disappeared because such ppl from the 'fringes' do not have godfathers. no wonder indian football is in such a state. :(

Mr Herculis,
Read what Mr John is saying, he's saying although these N-E players do well, they dont get selected and will be pushed aside by the rich n influential mainland indians..
Very encouraging show. Scoring the opening goal and then twice coming from behind to level the score is an incredible feat by our Indian footballers playing in good old England.
Its gr8 news for football passionate indian fans.. but guys dont get carried away.. the under 16 teams of all english teams except arsenal are just pathectic on world standards as all these english lads lack technique and footballing intelligence...
as young boys u have to work on ur technique, footballing intelligence and endurability...

note: arsenal has the best footballing academy in england, which was setup 12 years ago after wengers arrival.
the academy is proding some awesome talents like jack wilshire, rhys murphy, harvard norvedit, henri lansbury, gavin hoyte, jay simpson, fran merida, keiran gibbs, luke freeman, benik afobe, pedro bothelho and nacer barazite, who r gonna be world stars in near future and ashley cole and gael clichy as well...
and if some of our boys can get in there it w'd be awesome..
its supposedly the best footballing academy in world along with the clairefontaine academy in france

You can name all the names you want, but half the players in your list are not Arsenal academy products.
Most of the players have been developed by French and Spanish clubs until the age of 14-16.
Fran Merida was stolen from Barcelona and Arsenal had to pay a fine of €3.2 million over his signing.
Besides if Indian lads want to learn anything about football, the Dutch academies and Clairefontaine are head and shoulders above Arsenal.
