is FIA... being too Harsh on Lewis Hamilton..
by 666 on Sep 09, 2008 01:49 AM

Rules are always harsh when it comes at the wrong time... thats what happened to Hamilton as well.. He did a great drive in the rain...but looking at the overtaking which was termed illegal its clear from the TV footage that he carried that momentum from Ferrari's slipstream after cutting the chicane...thats not how u race in Formula 1 ...if it had been Street Racing ...hats of to Lewis he is the winner

FIA has always favoured english teams, FI owned bernie Eccelstone whos english has always favoured teams like willims and mac laren which are english... hamilton derserved the penalty as he gained unfair momentum on kimi... and last year also it wasnt fair. maclaren were docked points, not lewis or alonso whereas the act msc laren team did was 3rd rate

FIA HAS ALWAYS FAVORED ONLY FERRARI
by rajeev sharma on Sep 08, 2008 12:33 PM  | Hide replies

NOW ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, FIA IS CLEARLY "FERRARI INFLUENCED ASSOCIATION", WHEN LEWIS ALLOWED KIMI TO OVERTAKE AFTER THAT CHICKCHANE COLLISION THEN WHY FIA COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THAT LEWIS HAS NOT BROKEN ANY RULES, AND MORE OVER KIMI WAS CRASHED LATER, SO ANY ADVANTAGE TO KIMI WAS OF NO USE, EITHER. PLEASE SOME BODY IN THIS MOST POPULAR SPORT SHOULD ACT AND GIVE AWAY 10POINTS TO LEWIS OR WE ALL WILL START LOOSE INTEREST IN THIS SPORT DUE TO ARRONGANT BEHAVIOUR OF SO CALLED "FIA" AND FERRARI .
IS THERE ANY ONE WHO COULD SERIOUSLY HELP MCLAREN AND RON DENNIS FROM THIS STUPID FIA .

what do you intend to express by posting in UPPER CASE letters?? Do you want to force your opinion onto others??

Yes, lewis did allow kimi to overtake onto the main straight, but it seems you failed to observe the amount of momentum he gained due to that move; as he was already on full throttle. Even though he backed off a little, to allow kimi to pass; he had the undue advantage going into turn1.

And by the way F1 will not loose any viewership if they loose the interest of a few people....

that's what the mclaren's deserve. they keep committing mistakes(intentional or unintentional) and illegal manoeuvres in every other race. No ethics in their team.

Yes, lewis did allow kimi to overtake after cutting the chicane, but you failed to see the momentum gained by lewis due to that move. Because of that move, lewis was already on full throttle on the main straight by the time they reached the 1st corner; and hence he got an undue advantage. Better have keen observations....

Yeah i support rajeev, i wonder if a penalty would be given to ferrari if they had committed that mistake! Massa was let off with a small fine in the last race and no penalty at all!

that was not a fine imposed on him. it was a fine imposed of Ferrari team for unsafely releasing Massa from the pits.

Massa given Spa-----
by cama jehangir on Sep 08, 2008 11:09 AM  | Hide replies

As soon as I saw it happen it was clear that the stewards should have acted Thank God that they did rule against Hamilton Massa rightly deserved the win Hamilton has proved himself to be one of the finest to hit the F1 in the last so many years but he has unfortunately also proved himself to be arrogant and with a do not care attitude towards the rules and regulations in an effort to win at all costs This cannot be permitted and he has got what he deserved

Mass is the Man to watch out for
by Great Khali on Sep 08, 2008 08:41 AM  | Hide replies

Whatever be the final decision after the Belgian GP, one this is clear that Hamilton and Massa are the main rivals for championship. I don't understand why Ferrari cannot see the potential and back Massa for championship. He is a talented driver and has the points to prove. Kimi may be having a bad year, due to the unreliable Ferrari engine.

Overall, I am glad Massa got maximum and is closing in on Hamilton. Both are good drivers who heat up a F1 race by their skills, composure, confidence, and aggression.

Ferrari as a problem with there car.
They can win only with fresh Engine.Otherwise they come with engine failures for last two races it was seen.
Even in these race massa was not yet all in P1.If they want to win they must have a good engine otherwise gone.
I feel penalty was more ,but In the same ckt in GP2 all most 2 drivers where given penalty for cut short in the bus stop stand.

dont write for the heck of it. i hope you saw the race. nobody tries to bend rules like hamilton does. he has to pay for it else f1 will become a circus. but it guess discipline and rules are something alien to most indians.
