yes he can run more fast .. ... becoz see that race he got slow down and with joy he hitting his chest ........ if he would contd he would get most and ever ungettable time
In spite of his shattering run, Usain must rue whar he did in the last strides of the race. 9.63/64 could have looked far far better than 9.69. Someone told me when I was 10 that you never look sideways in a race until you cross the line. In spite of the gold, what Usain did was preposterous.
Thats the fire in belly of powell to outperform usain records next time. Healthy competition. Folks, lets first enter the last 8 to run the 100 m in next olympics so that, atleast we can aim for bronze. be practical.
Its been years since one has seen someone hit the boosters after 50 meters.. it was carl lewis who last did it.. Bolt truly has that gift and Asafa can only watch each time..
In a way its nice to pump oneself by saying 9.59 sec etc.. one must never quit trying.. maybe even the technology is enabling the tumbling of records..
Phelps broke records at whim.. we are told the pool was such designed that the turbulence was the least.. add to which is the body suits.. I am sure the astro turf running tracks are improved in Beijing which has aided all records to be broken.. otherwise its unbelievable to see 100 mts, 200 mtrs, 4X100 mtrs records breaking in the same olympics..
Bolt is accused of arrogance.. chest thumping even before finishing 100 mtrs.. i believe he deserves to be proud of himself.. its nice to see someone pumped up and confident of himself and unlike Jaques Rogge said, it did not demean any other competitor.. its was pure esctasy and enjoying his own victory..
All my life I have been a huge athletics fan and that was truly a defining moment.. I have seen Carl lewis, Ben Johnson even the authority of Micheal Johnson in 200 and 400.. but nothing like the pure effortless ease of Usain Bolt !
