Nadal can concentrate better than Federer over long periods. That's the reason why his unforced errors remain low throughout the match. He's got exceptional stamina and footwork,athleticism. Though Federer has more skill, mentally he is beaten. He has lost his confidence against Nadal and Wimbledon was the final nail in his coffin. I don't see Fedex come even close to beating Nadal unless he gets rid of the mental block. Long live the new king Nadal!

rightly said bro.. it is just the metal factor for Federer.. he has more skill than Nadal. Where as nadal more athletic and acrobatic which are working well for now!!!

Federer is a mental. Nadal is not just defensive. His defense is the best. He smokes out winners like a bullet fired from a pistol. With his serve improving by leaps and bounds, the stamina which will improve, Nadal sure to break Sampras' 14 slams before Federer. Watch out!

Nadal has less unforced errors because he plays it safe using his incredible topspin. Nadal relies on other players making errors for him to win. Nadal is mentally strong but not more than Federer. Federer goes for winners and plays high-risk tennis. When it clicks, its amazing to watch but when it doesn't,he ends up having lots of errors. Also Federer had mono beginning of this year. Lets see how both players do next year before making judgements.

Nadal has more physical strength. He beats the ball whereas Federer times it. This is like comparing Dhoni to Dravid. One hits the ball hard while the other times it.

He was at No. 2 for 3 years, even with the way he plays.... I am not sure about him being at No. 1 for three years, but its not impossible... with his awesome game and unbelievable humility (which Fedex doesn't seem to have), he sure has won new admirers (stolen quite a few from Federer's camp as well). Success not getting into his head is letting him improve his game and he's not reached his peak yet.

Where did you get the impression that Federer doesn't have humility? Half his statements get misinterpreted by the media in order to spice stuff up. IMO Nadal's statements are all fabricated by his uncle. He may be humble in person but his statemnts to media are closely monitored.

Hi mate How come a post match live statements can be misinterpreted. I like both of them , but one thing is for sure- Federer is the one who hated challeges and gained a lot of matches because of that. But still he doesnt want to change his opinion about that.

Apart from Federer, Rafa & Djokovic there are also other players who are knocking the doors. I think this time one of those dark horses will emerge a winner. Wait and see.

U r right. Djokovic has the upper hand. But have a look at the recent Hard court matches which both of them. Rafa leads djokovic. Thats because of his serve. Rafa for sure will be the man to beat. Interestingly a fedex nadal finals is on the cards
