I saw this match siting in Maracana. Match was quite dull and kaka, robinho were quite off. But again brasil is the only country played in every wc, and i hope this will continue. But Brasil Fans were quite unhappy.
what i have seen is that african teams are now coming up in soccer. nigeria, ghana and other teams... they have the physical ability and now they have some good coaching due to global market.

LOL!! africa...those guys man, ur joking. Who do they have" no one. Consider this 2006 WC: cameroon nigeria dint qualify Ivory coast/angola lost in 1st round. India is better than these africans
Brazil has always maintained a low profile during qualifiers. They have always been behind Argentina before the finals. But in the finals, Brazil has always been a great and mighty force to reckon with. Its true the national spirit among its players is declining. But thats true for most big countries in football. This is due to the luxury lifestyle and fame given from playing club football in europe.

@ SANJAY! dude u call urself a football fan...Ok here are the stats: Hargreeves:99 munich,2008 Manu rooney 2008 ManU Gerard single handedly won 2005 for liverpool. Admit it man, how many Brazilians u can name apart from Kaka and showpony ronaldinho. ZERO!! Brazil is a team in decline. But England, led by the lion Terry is on the way to become world champs.

they'll start winning cups from 2010 onwards. Calling Rooney, terry etc paper tigers is a bit harsh my man. They perform dayin out in big clubs like ManU and chelsea. Nowadays, who would ppl watch, Gerrard/lampard or players like roque junior/gilberto/ etc. who are not fit to stand near ronaldo, pele, zico etc

@sandeep i will bet my life that, England will not reach even semifinal in next world cup!u r over optimistic abt their chances!lampard is a big flop in world areana..i only appreciate gerrad !

ha ha,oh yeah, all england players yet to show thier worth in world club.. as i said eraleir they are just good at club level.. 4 champions leagues? when buddy?? 2 i guess
They no longer produces the star players that they did while in 70's and 80's. In fact last was ronaldinho, almost 5 yrs back. Look where he's now. Argentina is the country with an endless supply of world class(proof: olympic gold). Also England on the rise: gerrard, lampard, rooney etc miles better than the mediocre Brazil midfield(except Kaka) Good bye Brazil!

england won WC only once, way back in 1966, helped by controversial goal... that's their limited ability. EPL is great to watch though, as there are less English footballers and more foreign recruits.
