All the drivers will be willing to help Massa.
by Entomologist on Oct 16, 2008 12:08 PM

Alonso said it openly.

But, I bet, each and every driver in the grid will be willing to help Massa.

For his arrogant attitude towards his fellow drivers, Hamilton will be punished heavily. Each and every driver will be after him and probably will be taken out of the race by all means.

Learn to respect your colleagues Lewis. Otherwise, u will be taught a lesson. Too late for this season.

Changed my mind about Alonso
by Harish Balasubramaniam on Oct 14, 2008 05:35 AM  | Hide replies

I used to hate Alonso, I now like him. Even though he says he will support Massa only because Massa is running against Hamilton for the title, it is amazing that he said it. I really hope he does something to spoil Hamiltons race as Lewis Hamilton does not deserve to win, he is not champion material. Felipe does deserve to win and would be a worth winner. Go Massa.

I cudnt agree more.......and the fact is i used to hate him as well but when i seeth grit from him in that Renault to beat nelson piquet every time and still win races i feel he deserves to be champion again one day.........hope he replaces Kimi at Ferrari when the Flying Finn is done wid his career.....and i hate Hamiltons ever increasing Arrogant ways......Hope Massa wins

Alonso wanted by every Team on the grid
by Prazy on Oct 13, 2008 08:09 PM  | Hide replies

The fact is McLaren also signed alonso they needed him (only because on fallout with Ron and hami he came out of contract) and BMW want him more then anyone for future but he rejected their offer since they want him for long and his plans are differnt and wants to go to ferrari..watch out end of the season ferrari might have already inked one of the greatest deals in history to buy alonso becasue no one can deny the fact that alonso was the guy who brought down schumis legacy with a car that was not clsoe to ferrai...hail the legend Alonso, He is just the complete F1 package be it testing and giving inputs to the teams because of his inputs only renault could win 2 championships because of his inputs mclaren could make a competing car last year and continue with it and now see renault again it only because of alonso they from dumps are winning again...

"becasue no one can deny the fact that alonso was the guy who brought down schumis legacy with a car that was not clsoe to ferrari" ???
Do you even know how important tyres were back then and how badly bridgestone was on the Ferrari's? I guess you need to read up a little bit on season 2006 and 2005 too to know why Ferrari lost and what Bridgestone confessed.

To begin with, I must say that though I have some misgivings about some of Schumi's antics in the past, I appreciate the impact he has had on the sport and the passion he brought to it. My thoughts based on whatever little I know of the sport
•      The choice to go on Bridgestone was made by Michael and his team. On some circuits, Bridgestone had an advantage while in others Michelin had the advantage. You make your choices and you live and die by them
•      If anything, Bridgestone were accused of favoring Ferrari over all the other teams that used the Bridgestone tires. Things even out in the end.
•      About the 2006 season, Michel ended up on 121 points while Alonso had 134. Michael’s retirement was a sad incident and even I felt for the man but lets be clear that even if he won the race, Alonso still had a clear lead over the legend
•      Alonso is definitely the best among the current lot of drivers. Any comparison with Michael is very premature. Let us wait and see what the future holds for us.

None of the Force India cars are doing too well.Leave alone winning points Sutil and Fisichella are unable to even be competitive, whatever the reason. Why do we not try Kartikeyan and Karun Chandoke ? After all how much worse can it get from here.Atleast with the Indian boys in there if nothing it will warm many a heart.

If Fisi and Sutil can't drive that car home, then obviously Karthikeyan or Chandok can't either. Then again if Karthikeyan and Chandok fail in getting those cars to finish the race, they will be scrutinized and made scape goats. Isn't that what we are good at?

Karthikeyan,

You could not have said it better. the "isn't that what we are good at?" in reference to us Indians blaming scapegoats is hitting the nail on the head.

Sutil has been extremely unlucky this season. He could have brought some points at least in Monaco but was unlucky getting involved in an accident which wasn't his fault and again in Singapore. And you need not put doubt on Fisi's talent. If the car's not good enough then how can the drivers be blamed. At the same time, the team management can't be blamed either. They have just started whereas the ferraris and mclarens have long time of research and highly upgraded technologies with them. The team will improve....If Torro Rosso is an example that they can follow, they will do wonders in a few years.... We just need to be patient and keep supporting Vijay Mallya for taking such a brave decision.... Go Force India

i think you have gone mad... alonso - such a technically sound driver and 2 world c'ship is no fluke..you just look at how he edges out the corners.. so beautifully, the overtaking and the late breaking while he dives into the pits... so wonderful to watch... its no fluke ... its real talent and focus... good that he came out of that hell-mcleren team...

Two times world champions before winning these two races were definitely not by fluke. He has personal problem with Hamilton thats different thing. And the person who behaves arrogantly in the cricuit is Hamilton, if you go by common perception.

Alonso cant stand the fact that a young rookie in his first f1 year took so many points as himself and hence out of sheer jealousy and immaturity talks such rubbish.

Alonso is a pathetic team person. Hamilton shows he has the speed. Period. We are not slow racing. And Lewis has time and again unfairly punished. Just like Sebastian Bourdais yesterday.

How do you see racism here? Alonso & Hamilton have some personal issues. They dont like each other. And one would always agree two things about Hamilton. one - he's a great driver and will win many races in coming years and two - he's arrogant and doesnt have great fan following outside britain.
